At NeuroPDF (accessible from neuropdftranslate.com), our primary priority is the privacy and security of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information collected and processed by our B2C Chrome Extension and web services, and how we handle it under strict compliance rules.

1. Zero Data Retention Compliance

Unlike traditional translation services, NeuroPDF operates under a strict Zero Data Retention policy. We do not store, log, or cache your PDF files, technical text runs, or translated paragraphs on our servers. All document translation processing is executed securely in-memory and immediately discarded upon response transmission.

2. AI Translation Engines (OpenRouter API)

Translation services are processed via the OpenRouter API gateway. When you upload a document or translate web content, text blocks are sent securely to designated AI models (including GPT-4o-mini and Gemini 1.5 Flash). These payloads do not contain personal identifiers, and metadata is stripped to prevent target profiling. OpenRouter API complies with strict corporate data handling schemas.

3. Local Storage and Preferences

The NeuroPDF Chrome Extension stores API keys and user preferences (such as language selection and custom prompt instructions) locally on your device using browser extension storage (`chrome.storage.local`). This data is never transmitted to us or third parties.

4. In-App Feedback Routing

If you submit a contact inquiry or error log using our Feedback Form, the message, name, email address, and optional browser debug context are routed securely to our administration mailbox using the Resend email service. This information is used strictly to resolve your query and is never shared or sold.
